Kristin started as a Junior handler in 1974 with Airedale Terriers. She bred her first litter of ten puppies in 1976. From there she showed on the hunter/jumper circuit. In 1996 JT Block Racing Inc was born and after over a decade on the NASCAR circuit, she began breeding greyhounds full time. With the decline in the racing industry she began showing Scottish Deerhounds, Treeing Walker Coonhounds, Bluetick Coonhounds and breeds, shows and hunts Plott hounds. She had the #1 Plott hound female in 2013 and 2014 and has won Best Of Opposite Sex with her Plotts two years in a row at Westminster. She has had numerous placements and awards in all of her breeds at Eukanuba and Westminster. She was the #1 in the NOHS in the Plott hound breed in 2014 and was a Top Ten Invitee in three breeds for the NOHS in 2014 and had three Invitees to Westminster in 2014. She is known worldwide for her greyhounds and has Irish Derby finalists in her kennel.

Kristin was mentored in frozen semen practices by Sharyn Conole of Camelot Farms and freezes semen exclusively with Camelot Farms SPS extender. She has worked in research at Wake Forest University where her canine reproduction knowledge was utilized. She is a graduate of Washington University In St. Louis with a Masters Degree.
