TROUBLESHOOTING:

Unable to see custom selected colors in the chat room?

AddonInteractive has recently identified an issue with Java 1.6 and higher that causes user selected colors to not show properly. The problem appears to be a Java bug introduced in their latest release. They're currently working on our next release v8.1 that will resolve this issue permanently regardless of measures taken by Sun.

At the present time, the only way to resolve this issue is to revert back to a Java 1.5 release.

To do this: In Windows XP go to: START-CONTROL PANEL-ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS (Double click)-Wait while the list is being populated-Scroll down to the J's(listed alphabetically)-Look for all Java(TM) Runtime Environment and/or J2SE Runtime Environment 6 or higher. (Left click on one) It will then highlight in blue(Left click on the Remove tab) Follow all on screen instructions. All Java and/or J2SE 6.0 or higher must be removed individually. Copy and pasting these instructions to a text document or printing these instructions might be helpful as some browsers require to be closed out before removing files. After all files in question have been removed you can safely close ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS & CONTROL PANEL windows. Open new browser window and go to http://www.oldapps.com/java.htm to download Java 1.5. After installation instructions are complete. Exit broswer and reopen. Custom chat colors will now be available to view.
